Craftinsure Ireland were the first to provide a complete boat insurance service online - removing the paper chase that we saw in boat insurance. Craftinsure Ireland's policies are underwritten by Tokio Marine Europe SA whose assets exceed €160bn.

Direct to You, No Middleman

Craftinsure Ireland is a ‘Quote and Buy’ online business - we pass on the cost savings of being online which allows us to offer competitive premiums. We are direct to you only – we do not deal with brokers, passing on the savings to you.

Premiums

By eliminating the paper involved in insurance and by only being online, we have made significant cost savings. We do not pay broker commissions either, so we can pass the savings on to you in the form of fiercely competitive premiums.

Premiums are paid annually.

The site is designed to be easy to use, but if you get stuck and would like to talk something through with us we have an underwriting helpline which is available between the hours of 9am to 5pm.

Claims Tracking

It is when the unexpected happens that the real value of Craftinsure Ireland comes into its own. As you would expect, you can notify us of a claim 24/7. Your claim will acknowledged immediately by email. We will send you emails to update you on the progress of your claim and at anytime you can check on progress of your claim online.

Even the internet struggles to give good advice when the worst happens. So we have a 24/7-telephone helpline manned by our claims team, who will offer practical advice on how to prevent the situation deteriorating and begin to get you back on the water, and ship shape.
